UK History Places Walton Hall

Visit to Walton Hall 18th Century UK

Visiting Walton Hall in Warwick felt like stepping back in time. On a wintry January weekend, covered in ice and fog, it had the atmosphere of a Gothic Brontë Sisters novel. The perfect setting for any Steampunk enthusiast or fan of The Traitors.

Walton Hall is an 18th-century hall with a chapel and graveyard, built in the Gothic Revival style prominent at the start of the 18th century. At a time when everything was designed to be ornate and decorative, including lampposts, entrances, and even doorbells.

Feeling very inspired to design a new fabric collection. To explore my fabric designs inspired by historical places and stories from UK history, see Vintage Fabrics.
